I am a scientist in the Global Clean Air program at Environmental Defense Fund, where I use high-resolution, satellite-derived exposure data to estimate the health impacts of air pollution across the United States and Latin America. I hold a PhD in Environmental Health and an MPH in Environmental Health Science and Policy from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University.

Before EDF, I worked at the intersection of science and regulation. At the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Land and Emergency Management, I contributed to proposed rules to prevent the release of hazardous substances under the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act. I have also worked on environmental and chemical policy at the U.S. Chemical Safety Board, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Defense. My research on air pollution and health has been published in Lancet Planetary Health, Nature Communications, GeoHealth, Environmental Research Letters, and Environmental Health Perspectives.
